Solaris Vaccines is dedicated to transforming global health by developing safer, more effective countermeasures and processes against infectious agents such as viral, bacterial, parasitic and fungal pathogens. The underlying platform uses UV light in the presence of a photosensitizer to inactivate these threats to global human health while maintaining the immune-stimulating antigens, resulting in new therapeutics and prophylactics. It also provides a new approach for mitigating against the presence of pathogen contaminants from a wide array of life science products efficiently and at scale.
As a result, the Company has two distinct and compelling paths to revenue: Creating novel life-saving interventions and enabling the massive bioprocessing industry. Solaris has received significant interest and support from both the US Departments of Defense and Health & Human Services.
